mr.Miller, the Zenit is a heavy mechanical Russian camera (M42 screw mount) with very basic features (1/30 to 1/500sec) that i bought in 1985 and helped me learn most things about photography using it. you can find a used one for a couple of dollars. i still have mine but i dont use it any more, although it is my only chance to shoot really long exposures in low temperatures,as this picture proves http://www.usefilm.com/image/450806.html
if i could afford it i would buy the screw-mount full frame Zenitar fisheye for my old friend ;-)

thats too bad :( the colors and the mood of that image are just incredibly beautiful to me. Not in a morbid way but that scene is somewhere id like to be right now, kind of sums up how i feel. *minus the tombstones and death part*

i'm glad you like it :-))

Eric, unfortunately i haven't got a file big enough for a decent print. i took the original photo back in 1987 and i can't find the negatives...the only i have left is a 10x15cm print which i scanned in a cheap flatbed. the image i uploaded is a low resolution copy treated with software to give it a rather different look.

Beautiful colors, Kostas! This is a really provocative image, with so much left to the imagination. Feels like a cemetary on the beach.
