i guess you are scanning the pics at high resolution so the file size will be bigger . so wen you rezie them to load here the pic may go smaller wen you lower file size if you scan them at 200 that should be ok . mabe its that. i looked at file size of St David's Cathedral its 172kb thats ok but the pic is small so i think you are scaning them at a to high resolution. try wat i said and se how it comes out . good luck

Point taken. I have sometimes had problems getting a decent size of picture. More recent ones seem to have been reasonable but some earlier postings were very slight. Still don't understand the reason.
