Paul, it's been a long time since I've been to the Alamo, but I remember this place... Very dramatic angle, excellent focus. I'm impressed that you managed to get the flag stretched out. My attempts at flag pictures are abysmal, they always seem to be going the wrong way or not blowing at all. The way you have shot this, the flag and the man are "looking" in the same direction. Exposure very nice as well. Amy

I believe that is called a cenotaph. A monument honoring those who are dead, but who are not actually buried here. Or something like that. (makes note to get some Texas pics...)
