Thanks for looking Cagatory, this actually is Niagara River that flows over the falls and later into Lake Ontario I think. The cloud like you see is actually the mist from the water falling, it rises above too and can be seen from miles away.

Appreciate the comment MaLuisa, it really falls into "Deep Blue" catagory doesn't it? Was from either our hotel, or the Skylon tower, its been , hmmm, maybe two years since we were there.

The wooden walkways are built new each spring Mark. It would be impossible to maintain them through winter and the freezing of the falls and area, would just break up. They are torn out at the end of each tourist season.

I have been there, and went on the tours.. I can still hear the roar of the waterfalling, absolutely breathtaking!! Excellent shot!
