Thes guys have awesome character. THe dappled light does great thing for the colours here. Have always been facinated by these things since seeing them on the telly years ago. Thanks for the float.

Xanthorrea Australis is the botanaical name Grasstree for the common name...umm the shot is good..what would have helped is to have the background cropped out to take out the hotspots and to really focus on the grasstrees..doing that would also have gven you a correct exposure on them and the meter would not be reading the bright spots in the background as well and so you exposure would be better
