Earl I like the crop better... trying to figure out how to give it more punch... maybe just a drop shadow in photoshop? not sure.
As for the D70. I really do like it. I'm frustrated in the noise I'm finding personally in the raw converted to JPG. And also currently PSCS (photoshop cs (version 8.0)) does not read the D70s camera raw files. But for getting used to digital from film... it's a great and affordable camera to get great images and get your digital "feet" wet. :)
