This is our first meting on the pages of "Usefilm", Mr. Madariaga. I took the opportunity to read your bio, which although not in English is not too difficult to understan: you are an architect, 27 years old, live in Santjago in Chile and are fascinated with photography. I also looked through your portfolio. That part was easy, because there were not too many photos, but difficult because they were all good and hard to select one to comment on. I fnally settled on this one not only because it was the last photo you posted and hence the first one I saw, but also because I liked the relative simplicity of its lines and simplicitiy, I've been told more than once, is the secret of beauty in art. Although you write in Portighese, your first name, Hans, is for me a sign of German origin and if you still know German, you may write to me in that language. You are, of course, invited to read my bio and pay further visits to my portfolio. In the meantime, I thank you for your friendly comment on my "Combination 4." Best regards, Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communications) Springmann

me gustan las fotografias con ese tipo de contraste, y mas aun en b&w otro detalle es el exterior, si hasta parece que hubiese neblina, dandole un sentido de fotografía de época saludos
