About	The soft shadows on the late afternoon snow in Grant Park, Chicago. My backyard...for now. I bought the Sony Cybershot DSC-S75 used for 100.00. It is a very capable camera with full control of white balance, exposure and focus. Trying to prove to myself that expensive equipment is not the most important factor in good images. So far I'm convinced that it's true.

The image begins in the mind. The camera is only a tool to share what cannot be seen. Beautiful composition and moody light. You know what cold is. Chicago, the windy city.

Don't get me wrong , George. I love the latest and greatest as much as the next guy. But in the final analysis it is about the image not the tool to capture it. It only makes it easier to capture and work the process. Buy the best you can afford! I have a $1000.00 guitar but it's no good if I have 10 cents worthy of talent! -mm
