Taken on the descent of Grisedale Pike looking towards Derwentwater at around 10am. Alright, this has had a bit of modification. It was just a tad windy so I couldn't stand straight long enough to shoot so I had to rotate the image on the computer, the toning is an obvious addition, and also some smoothing with Neatimage: many thanks to Sam Andre.
David, you have a great eye for composition, the long shadows are sublime. I wish I could get up early enough to shoot in this sort of light when I make it up to the LD. As a purist though I can't get past the noise here. I wish I'd been there to shoot with a DSLR.... I hope you get one soon?!! Regards Steve.
I have changed the tones levels. The changes are very obvious in what use to be white in the sky and on the bottom of the picture the contrast of the trees.
