Posting pics of demos on usefilm can be tricky. My latest (and first) demo shot ( www.usefilm.com/image/686429.html ) disappeared fom this site for unknown reasons.

You are correct re: improving photograph however I just love it, the two stoners the crowd the signs.....
I go to as many demonstrations as possible here ( and there are many) and "shoot the crowd", it is a great deal of fun so I guess this would be photojournalism and you have to take what you can get under those circumstances.

Should be legalized. But I'm sure the drug mafia will bribe the politicians into keeping it illegal. Laws against drugs keep their profit margins high.

Here in The Netherlands, our government collects taxes on marihuana sales. You can buy it everywhere and you can ask a cop to light your joint without any trouble. But it's still illegal according to the small print of the law...

I'm not sure what to think of the picture. Composition, light, colors, plenty of room for improvement. I guess the crowd didn't make it easy to grab a better shot.

If it were to be done over, this would be legal and alcohol would be banned.

...once tobacco companies figure out a way to make money from it, it will become legal.
