The SC award for Beach IV is, in my opinion, completely arbitrary. You could have thrown a number from 1 to 10 into a hat, picked out a number, given that number in the series an SC award or any other kind of award, and there could be no argument about the merits. Full stop.
This one is very attractive and compelling due to the nature of the lines and how that pattern is broken by the shell, making a different line at angles.
