Thanks for your comment and welcome to usefilm, if I'm allowed - as a newcomer myself - to say that. Your comment raises an interesting question, the question "what is content". This is in my opinion a matter of taste in the first line. But on the other hand, it's also a matter of a kind of common sense. But this again differs from group to group with quite different forms of common sense. Eventually we end up with a similar question "what is art". And as you know, there is no clear answer to that question.
But all these considerations are much too sophisticated for my type of photos, as they are merely shots, taken without even thinking of issuing them in such a forum. After I've joined usefilm I'm starting to learn, and comments like yours will help me in that.
Regards, Markus

Very interesting work. I think this is more effective than most of your others. In this work I have the opportunity to look back and think...what does this mean. Content. Content, whether purposeful or not, means a lot. Nice stuff.

Great perspective, I like the featured milestone, it is interesting how it has all of the stones on top like you find on gravestones. The view and composition are wonderful. Alison

Thanks for your comment. The Camino de Santiago is an famous old pilgrims way leading from all over Europe to Santiago de Compostella in the North East of Spain. The shell is the sign of the Holy Jacob, supposed to be burried in Santiago, his body found by a fisherman through a miracle or so, therefore the shell.

I like this image Markus. Good detail and colour. What is the significance of the shell motif on the side of the milestone? Regards John
