About Subject background: Another one of my IR experiments "still landscape meets moving victimes". This is Central Park, sun is going down, and my handheld experiments (1/10 actually) are getting kind of difficult.

PS concept: The image didn't come out that sharp as I wanted (due to the 1/10 shutter time, ISO 800 and f/5), but nevertheless, I like this "snow" view of the central park ;-) Didn't change much besides desaturataion.

As always: Honest feedback highly appreciated

Excellent Ir capture Thilo, superb effect achieved here, great choice of B\W
Many thanks for commenting "Lonely tree IR'
You are right the blue here is a bit out of place
but I liked the whole composition
With the channel mix I don't succeed to much
I use Ir actions instead
I you wish I can send them to you ,to experiment
Best regards dear friend

Very nice i think 1/10 shutter like you took it works quite good. Detail, i feel like unsharpening the utterly sharp tree in the middle rear a little bit .

Regards

hi steve,

the d70 does very well even with ISO 800. that's the best reason for a DSLR versus a compact camera (they really suck with ISO 400+).

Excellent capture Thilo, even at ISO800 I am surprised how bright this has turned out from 1/10 shutter. I struggle with brightness even at 5 seconds and over lol

Very little grain too - very good indeed :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

Hi Thilo, eine schöne 'Winterlandschaft'...wirkt effektiv..vielleicht sogar nur die Landschaft alleine ? Sind die verwischten Stellen in den Bäumen nachgearbeitet? Mir gefällts :)

Hey Thilo, you're right about the winter view, looking great, and look at the tree shadow on the grass... all in all a good experimental shot ..
