True, the real beauty come from the inside - that's for sure. And she is very beautiful, and this portrait is so good. I like the diagonal composition a lot, and the colors... really excellent.

Are you asking what power i used? I used a soft box but did not use the strobe, i believe the power setting was set at around 94 and a small reflector. I usually only work with one light even though id like to start experimenting with kick lights and other styles. If you want to email me tanksmx@gmail.com

Wonderful! You really made all the red work in this image. Very nice portrait.
I'd like to start working more with portraits, but I'm not sure where to start as far as lighting goes. Any suggestions? What was your lighting for this image?

i like this tremendous use of one color for creative control within an image. very well done. i think the red is a light reflection on her skin.

I agree, I tried to hue out most of the red but some of it is just makeup I believe.

I like the color coordination, but I think her skin tones could then be used as the contrast to the otherwise monotone shade. As it is, they're too red.
