So clean and well balanced that it looks deceptively simple - but the choices are all there (perspective, composition, crop). Very nice.

A stark reminder on the day of a certain inauguration of the Classical roots of the Founding Fathers' philosophies--and of the results of the Civil War in particular. Elinor Wylie as a girl had a revelation on the banks of the Potomac-- "And this red earth beneath my hand Which burns my hand like fire Is royal as Samarkand, Imperial as Tyre!"

Hi Andrew, very nice perspective and a well balanced composition. Handheld, huh? What was the shutterspeed you used? Cheers, Hugo
