Awesome perspective and composition. Digitals, like slides, are prone to burn out the highlights. One of the rules is to expose 2 or 2 1/2 EV over a reading in the highlights. In many cases, this will lead to very dark shadows. Some post-treatment in PS is possible, but at the cost of noise. The best sensors will give you the best results. Why not go for a Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II then );...! You may also try to close your lens a bit, say at f8. 1/4000 is very fast, and here comes one possible problem. At that speed, some sensors will have a hard time to fully react to the light. Other than that, f8 or mid aperture will reveal the best optical quality of many lenses.
