Thanks for your comments Melissa. I must say that I wasn't really big on snakes before doing that shoot, but after spending five days shooting about 60 different, and mostly venonous, snakes, I really started to enjoy them.
These reptilian models aren't quite as cooperative as human models. :) It's sometimes possible to place them in an interesting pose, but most times they have a mind of their own and you have to work with what they give you.

So this was actually taken in the studio? Could you somehow have had his tail swirl behind him and not out of the frame? I'm guessing not! Great capture.
