Hmmm. I think I'm missing it. Which girl scout pic? I like the post card idea. I didn't want to put an image on my business card because I thought it would be too small. I definitely need business cards though. Even for my "day job", it kind of establishes a little credibility. Walking up to some stranger and just telling them I'm a photographer -- I think it would have more impact if they saw I actually went to the trouble and expense of printing a card.
I can do the postcard thing myself -- I'll work on that soon. Should be fun.

Eric~ Your more than welcome. I know what you mean I see people all the time I want to shoot. (pardon the pun). I use photoshop and also photoimpact depending on what I am looking for exactly. I also have montages in my portfolio you might like. They typically have more photos on them. You can get free started business cards at vistaprint.com or have a lab make some with your image on them and on photo paper. I'd just take one of your pics and make it brighter it and lighten the contrast and put all your info on it or something like my girl scout pic for a post card size item to pass out. Just some ideas! ~mandy

What software do you use to do this sort of thing?
1) I met a girl at Starbucks tonight who was absolutely stunning. I didn't talk to her much but I'd really like to get her in my studio!
2) I'm gonna bite the bullet and get business cards and such printed up. Perhaps do a poster similar to what you do so that when I do meet someone like that in a Starbucks, on the train, on the street, etc, I can hand them my card and try to convince them to give me a ring. :)

I'm not sure where the sadness in her eyes comes from. She's the 3rd of 4 kids and she's kind of "shy" I guess. She kind of lurks in the background a lot of the time she's over here. I try to pay a little more attention to her because her older sisters and younger brother seem to get so much attention. She's an absolute sweetheart, though.

Beautiful pose, beautiful blue eyes. Nice angle. The only thing I notice here is her eyes, she has a smile on her face but not in her eyes. yes its a nice pose but you dont see that genuine happiness, which can be tricky. Just try to let them have fun and it can be there. She looks a little too mature for her age, by looking at those serious eyes! But she is a beautiful child. ~mandy
