I love the shot - perfect, great color, and wondeful feel to it.

This is a fantastic shot. I really like it. His hands really create an impression.

Best regards,

He's had a life that looks much different than what my appears on the creases and crevices of my hands. adversity and challenge are words that come to mind for me. also pride and dignity in a world that constantly bombards and challenges his dignity. great also that it is in color. this is one instance when color really contributes to the story behind the image.

I love this shot, and I like that you kept it in color - which I think brings out so much more of the texture (antithetical, I know), especially of the cuticles...those cuticles!

It's amazing how hands can show more than words can say. I'm curious to hear the long story about this photo.

It was only two years ago, so he's in his thirties now.

The facially bizarre poetess, Edith Sitwell, wore enormous, ornate rings, and often said, "My hands are my face." It's hard to imagine that a face-shot could tell us anymore about this man than his hands do.
