Hi Audra, I just used the Magic Wand Tool in PS and selected various colors and then filled them with a solid color of paint. Some colors were adjusted to give a two & three tone effect like on the jacket. Then areas s/a the cheek bones, I selected the color she used and then drew a ziggy on her her cheek for more character. She was a very pretty girl in the original photo, but I was feeling a little different. I don't know 'cutout', is it found in PS or another program?
Sorry about 'teddy bear', I am not sure why he decided I was the only person in UF using the word Grain inappropriately. Anyway, thanks for your visit & comments.

Holy smokes..she really doe's look like barbie..it's not even just the make-up..but the blank stare..weird..cool artwork Carla...I think I know this filter..is..it.."cutout"..?

This is a really great portrait. How did you achieve this effect? I think that portraits can sometimes get similar, but this one is really great. Good Job!
