A tripod and cable release were used with this shot, what I have noticed lately, and I don't know if it is because I now know what I am looking for, but it seems that most of the pictures with this lens could be a lot better. Maybe I should have the lens checked or cleaned or something. Cause most of the shots with the 50mm lens are much sharper.
This doesn't look as sharp as it could have been... do you normally use a tripod? Another helpful tool when taking low-light pictures is a manual cable release (you can buy them for cheap at any photographic store) as the camera doesn't shake when you press the button. You managed to get in the right place at the right time, though, as the colour on the tip of the mountain is really nice.
