About	Well the wait is over for me - I had my Pilots License come through the post today. And there's even a chance I might get to take my daughter with me flying tomorrow. Taken in the summer, the aircraft shown here is a Percival (Piston) Provost. It was a post WW2 trainer and precursor to the Jet Provost. I'd love to fly in it maybe one day, but it's a wonderful aircraft to listen to and watch. Neil

Great perspective, Neil! Nice to see something other than the usual plane shots. It's great to have these older aircraft around, gives a lot of atmosphere to your airport.

Hope you won't be sitting in this seat Neil. This puts me in mind of a Tony Hancock sketch where he flies a plane - don't bother about the hangar doors, I'll go out by the skylight.
Sincere congrats on receiving your licence and I've got fingers crossed the weather will be OK tomorrow so you can celebrate with a flight.
