About Well, sometimes I suprise myself! This is a black and white version of the colour image I uploaded yesterday. After some tweaking in black and white, I was suprised by the depth of the image without colour. I was happy with the previous black and white taken with a longer exposure and a wider composition but now I'm going to have to go back and rework it to give as much contrast as this one. I think the square crop suits this well too.

I'll be very interested to read your views on this one.

Thanks for taking a look.

Fantastic work, Daniel! If you have not yet tried Provia 100, I find it to work even better than Velvia for B&W conversions.

Great detail and a very good conversion to b/w. The only thing I would suggest is to fix the blown-out highlights where the waves crash onto the rocks.

Your tones are perfect! It's a good result considering that it comes from a colour film.
Also the square crop is perfect. From the screen you can't realize if it's from a 6x6 or 24x36.
Bye
