About Just a shot of a deer I took last Saturday on the parkway. Again, full digital zoom, so not as clear as I would like, but she's still pretty.

Den, the deer on the Parkway are so used to cars, that they don't run when a car goes by. You just have to drive very slow and get out quietly and not get TOO close. This one was not far from the road.

Here's an arm and a leg Rebecca. Now take me out and show me how to get a shot like this! It is absolutely superb.

They are such graceful creatures. It's scary to see them that close to the road. Recently on a stretch of highway between Minneapolis and Madison, about 250 miles, I counted 13 dead deer.

A wonderful wildlife shot, Rebecca. Even at the digital zoom, it's still sharp. This deer seems to be smart enough to stay out of the woods this time of the year. Let's hope she's smart enough to stay out of the way of motorist.

Better at a distance than the one that bounded in front of (and into) my car the my last trip down skyline drive. I know what you mean though. Nice photo. Del

Yes she is... She needs to be careful this time of year. Thank you for your comment on being featured and on my City Park photo.

Great capture. I used to shoot nature photos years ago and I know how fleeting and difficult a good shot like this is - a mixture of luck and skill. Found shots like this are very rare and you did a great job capturing the doe.
