A picture I took at the entrance of the Jagdish Temple in the beautiful town of Udaipur. The stone behind the two praying women is written in sanskrit.Built in 1651 A.D. By Maharana Jagat Singh, this Indo-Aryan temple is the largest and the most beautiful temple of Udaipur. It enshrines the image of Vishnu as Jagannath. The outside walls and shikhara are ornate and depict scenes from the life of Krishna. Subsidiary shrines to ganesha and hanuman flank the temple. Rub the cornerstone at the base of a stairwell seven times and according to legend, it will bring you good luck.
This is very impressive! I have been writing critiques for about an hour now, and this is one of the best images I have seen tonight. You have captured something magical here. The two women in vibrant colours, and the subtle background says stillness and depth of mind, whilst the movement in the left of the frams suggests speed and adrenalin - a great contrast. Maybe a frame would contain the image better, also, have you consideded converting the image to B&W? Obviously you lose the depth of colour, but monochrome images are often the most emotive, which this image would benifit from, maybe.
