The depth of field here is fantastic, or is this a photoshop experiment? Whatever it is I like it.

Thanks, Lori!
You're one of the few to have realized what's going on?
I get occasional bouts of fibromyalgia and this one has started particularly painfully. The medication is helping but as well as dulling the pain the tablets also dull the senses!
Best regards, Chris

At least we know this one isn't a self-portrait, Chris! Beautiful background on this one!

Sorry for your pain my friend. This too shall pass, deal with it in whatever way you need. If you can express your pain in such beauty as this you are a "rare bird" indeed. Dottie

Chris,

hope you recover soon, the last upload had me worried, but now I see that the old CS is lurking just underneath.

Oh yes and this location looks so tranquil, it must have been earlier in the year looking at the foliage.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...what a fool I am!!!
First I thought it was you...still in pain..but then you wrote it was a bird..and then it couldn't be you..cause you can't fly...even though you want to that much...so..
Hm.. OKOKOK..got it..and accepted it..
Hugs

The bird was real, it was the background that was made of plastic, Merete!

Expressisve bird and wonderful colors.

I didn't realize that the 'red' photo was really because you didn't feel good, just thought you were having fun.

So sorry to hear that you're not feeling well.
GET BETTER SOON my friend!
Lori :)

This "birds eye" view looks great Chris, I'm guessing you and Carole are in the photo somewhere but I guess you are trying to make me "Findus" ;-)

Best wishes,
