About Today we drove to our nearest city and back, which was about 3 hours drive away.

On the way, I had a ball taking photos whilst travelling at over 100kph. So please excuse any loss of detail, as it was more experimental than anything.

This particular image has not been cropped, so I think it came out okay considering we just flashed past it..LOL!!

Thanks Sergio. These were so close to the road, that I didn't think I would get it as well as I did. A lucky shot.

Very nice symmetry and perspective, amazing that you took it so well at that speed.

Thanks Margaret. I saw these coming up in the distance and was lucky enough to time it just right. I think I have taken so many photos on this camera that I am able to judge the timing pretty well now...LOL!!

Even so, I still call it a lucky shot...!

I went to dictonary to convert your 100 kph to 61 mph, and seems to be a relaxed nice speed I would say, ok? You have said of heat being on you now, right? Yet your roadside vegetation seems rather green and nice. Which I would guess means you receive regular rainfall too....which is very nice. You have said about the heat, I have been feeling badly as i thought would be dry also....but it isn't is it??

Its fun to convert your celsius temps and KPH speed and centimeters to our farenheit, mpg and inches and feet :-))

Regarding your friend on the other pic---my advice is somply ignore them!! Who needs them?? OK? :-))

Thanks Dave. These were so close to the road, so I had to quickly line up before and just as it entered the viewfinder hit the shutter button. A case of hit and miss one might say.

Thanks Den. Actually most of these photos I am uploading were taken at that speed. With cruise control on, there was no chance of hubby stopping for photos..LOL!!

Judi, from the thumbnail I thought you'd mirrored an image in PS but then the shadows on the shutes gave it away. Captured at 100 k/hr? Absolutely fabulous!! Well done.
