john, thanks for comment...
Ever since I was a kid I always take stuff apart to look inside to see what makes it work... So we took down the satelite dish {big one 12']this dish had a receiving horn. inside the horn is the a chamber to recieve the signal, this little crossthat you see is 3/4" tall and it is gold plated, and it actually pickes up the signal from space...
I shot the little horn and let the sunlight hit it...the rest was done in with magic dust and PS...
