Morning on BINH AN (Peaceful) ? a small coastal village in central Vietnam (40 miles south of Hue), where people use little boats as primary mean of transportation.
Notes:
I used the 200-ISO film but it has been processed with old chemicals by a local labs and all the pictures from this visit in April 2001 turned out to be grainy like this one. If you have exposed films, you may not want them to be victim as I did again in June 2004, with another labs.
If you shot films: bring them home. In June & July 2004, my films have followed me across more than 10 airport security checkpoints: Houston, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Beijing, Ming Tombs (they scan your belongs, too), then Beijing, Hong Kong, Hanoi, Danang, Saigon, Hong Kong and San Francisco. Photographers posted warning online telling me to not let film undergo more than 5 scans, but mine got back home OK. Be sure not to let film over 800-ISO be scanned.
