Tough landscape to capture. A wide angle lens definitely helps show the grandeur and openness of the scene, but it's tough to really get a sense of scale in how big these islands are or how far they are from one another. The sky definitely has some great lines created by the clouds and focusing on a large sky was a great choice. I do wonder if a longer focal length and a more specific oriented composition might have improved the impact of this scene. Hopefully you varied your focal length while out in this great area.
