Thanks a lot to both of you,
Yes, I used a tripod, but unfortunally I couldn't get a nearest place to close up to the ship.
It's right, it shoud be more interesting if I placed the ship on the left side, it' was my foult.
About exposure, it's the due to pay for a rookie in photografy like me.... without help of a Digital camera.
I hope to made better next time.
Thanks again for your souggestions

Ciao Giancarlo.
Lodovico.

I noticed a number of people had looked but left no comment. I hope you are seeking advice - this is mine:

Quite often you do not need a very long exposure at night (although you do need a tripod). It looks like you have used a good place for your camera (tripod or similar), but the exposure is a little too long.

I would have cropped a bit more from the bottom and taken the photo so that the ship was to the left of centre (the lights on the left are distracting).

Finally I might have tried to get a better colour balance as the black areas are a bit greenish, although this maybe solved by reducing the exposure.

I'd try something like 5secs or maybe increase the Aperture to f8/f11.

Neil
