Hi Lukasz, Good choice of choosing the longitudinal direction of the patterns in the sand. Not an usual choice, but that's what makes this image. The shallow DOF, as well as the lighting creates a good feeling of depth. Very intriguing and ispiring image... I have to keep this in mind!
Cheers,
Hugo

Great shot, Lukasz. I love how you've used such a limited dof to keep our attention in one area long enough to really explore the texture & detail of the sand. And there is a wonderful dynamic created in the play between the vertical lines in the sand & the horizontal stripe of the area in-focus. Strong choice to print (i mean shoot!) in b&w - it works really well here. Beautiful & compelling.

This is nice.....very nice. I like the vertical lines and this image shows the focal range very well. Softness at the front leading into sharp and well defined sand....sand at that, not that easy to show detail....then leading back to a soft focus. Well seen and captured. Lee

A mesmerising image, Lukasz! With the d.o.f. so shallow, and the sharp section in the middle, it feels a little strange. Kind regards, Chris P.S. My sympathies with respect to your trip!!
