In all things, time alone cannot be replaced.
I think perhaps this man, a man of great capacities for living and great passions for many things, has had time stolen from him. This capture, with such exquisite subtlety and understated regret, depicts time passed, of passion gone wanting, and joy unfullfilled. Such an intimate insight into the man, the capture stands apart as does the man himself, in perfect expression. All photographs, if they are worth the pixels they occupy, will evoke a strong emotion. This one does. This one shines as a fine example of a photograph being more than the sum of it's parts. Congratulations on this most excellent depiction of a man who has lived up to all the expectations and responsibilities of life, but in doing so, has had his passions for living diluted... within himself, but unexperienced. Excellent work.

Maybe he is thinking " Where there is no vision, the people perish"
That is a new quote i got today from a web site I found looking up the basket, i found it, the one you mentioned. This is a favourite quote from the founder of that museum. Julia.

Superbly composed image. I like how the sea view appears on the top left like a postcard. The lighting is very special and gives the image a special atmosphere that's somewhat mysterious but very pleasant. Fantastic capture, I T !!! Regards - Emgy

The best story could write IT himself without doubt...for sure...Well,I would like to say,the man is longing for someone to share this view with him...but this would be too simple.Thinking about the reason,to combine these two pictures...as there is that fence separating anything, and the words 'pace,peace..' ..I hope,he has found his peace... and I fear,I'm thinking around too may curves..

Love the composition, especially how you added the beach i the background. Realy give you a sence of location and adds to the relaxation of the overall picture. But what makes this shot special is the lighting and shadows you used. I doin't think it could have been any better. Keep up the good work.
