Sorry Hugo, but I?m too used to people to point out wghat I did wrong, where I did it by intention.OK, now I follow you. In PS8, CS, you use Image > Adjustments > Shadow/Highlights.Play with all, but all filters , one by one up to get what you aim for.It is a hit or miss process. There are no way , but play each one and they interact, which is either good or nasty, deprnding upon the time you want to spend. That way you can get that halo, that more clear light about the boats. Why? That?s behind my understanding, but you have seen the effect.Attached are the original picture, with ,indeed, reduction in size. Cheers jorge
Hi Jorge, I think I didn't explain myself properly. I don't hate thie image, nor your work, I'm just curious how you created that effect.... Obviously, you're the photographer here, and I don't want to interfere with that.... I'm just intrigued by it, that's it! It's what we are here for; to learn from the choices of others....
Cheers,
Hugo

Hi Hugo, thanks for your visit.I believe you?ve seen more than one of oictures of mine. You ask me what happened, my answer must be: jorge was the photographer.I have my way,I do it in my way.I just dis it in my way.Everything you pointed out, are not mistakes or accidents, but things I did by purpose.Because that?s my way. Regards jorge Of course you may hate "my way" and I still be your friend, because I don?t want to "sell" , my way".
Hi Jorge, I like the top down view on the boots, but what happened to this image? There seems to be a halo around the boats, and also the tones of the objects on shore look a bit unnatural... Just curious
