This is a fantastic and beautiful picture, especially since the boat and water skier are directly in the sunset.
Even the ripples in the water direct the eye to the main object, the setting sun.
Good foreground. NICE!

Thankyou my friend. I didn't have any boats or birds going through the area, so I really had to try and time this one just right. My little girl and I were standing at the top of a cliff taking these shots, so my mind wasn't entirely on the photos all of the time...LOL!!

The speed shutter and timing has contributed a lot to your artist eye and made the glory of this shot. Fabulous moment to capture and a breathtaking seen indeed. Cheers Judi.

Thankyou Ferdinand. Unfortunately at that part of the lake it is most common for skiing, jet skiing and red claw netting. The fishing boats tend to go over the other side, where there isn't much access for sunset shots. I am pleased I have you thinking again. That is the whole idea.

Another absolutely beautiful photo, Judi - the only possible comment would be that it would have been nice oif the boat was fishing rfather than pulling a water-ski enthusiast... But maybe that contrast is interestying also: there's no such thing as undisturbed serenity, and something will also remind us that there are other moods waiting to attract our attention. You see, you've got me thinking again... :-)
