The hat does it! I suggest a litle twist in cropping so wall lines become a truer horizontal -- also perhaps croppng a bit from behind child so not so much in middle of frame. The image of this child's face and look is wonderfully captured by you, Cindi -- excellent!

Hi Cindi, it doesn't happen much, but this photo actually made me smile... Excellent "poche" look in this kids eyes, and I think the hat makes it more "Art Chique" than "Art Critique".... Nice compostion. Just curious, did you emphasise his blue eyes? They stand out enormously; very effective. Very pleasing shot.
