Actually on all of these shots I used the same settings. 1/2000 shutter, F8 Aperture and 64 ISO.

Silvia, the colours are actually the red sunset that you will see in my portfolio. It was so brilliant and yet as you can see by the sky, it was quite deceiving as the rest of the sky was all different colours. I got images ranging from coppers/golds/reds and inbetween.

Judi, I came back and saw the second picture. But I think the first one is obviously better composed. Since in this second shot you've created space on the right, but the small tree which was until now at right has come to almost a mid position and has obviously created two frames. Moreover the space that was on the left previously was an indicator of the expanse of the water, which now looks cramped. Cheers

This is an excellent shot, with wonderful colors and lighting. The only thing I might change is placement of the trees, either leave move space on the right or less on the left to achieve a better balance.
