Oh wow, thankyou Kurt. I see many beautiful images and was rapt that I finally got the opportunity. I think the heavans were smiling down on me that day. That was the same weekend one of my images was used on TV in New Zealand. Now that was a good weekend.

Hi Larry. I used an f8 with a shutter of 1/2000. The sun had some punch in it. I only use a polarized filter, which stays on all the time.
Yesterday I received a new telephoto lens which takes the lens to a 440mm. Weighty but it will take some time to get used to it. Now I am looking at the macro range.

So do you remember what aperature and shutter you took this one on Judi?? You don't use filters as I recall, or do you?? Hmmmmmmmmmmm>>>>>>.......

Beautiful in many ways, Judi.
I especially like the sun's helation and rays over the watery scene while retaining the blue in the sky.

Yes, I have been busy my friend. Between Kita's 'me' photos and the weather photos, I am pretty flat out. Plus I have that course I am teaching in a few days. That has been extensive.

Thanks my friend. I, too, thought it was peaceful. I know there is a lot of sky, but there was so much activity in that area of the image that I couldn't not include it.

Mark, you are too funny. I was really pleased that I was able to capture this scene as I saw it through the viewfinder. I had not seen the sun arch so vibrant before so was really crossing my fingers on this one. I got lucky in the end.
