You really got sucked in, there. One of my favourite uncles was what we call in England an "auxilliary police constable" which meant he could be called out for special duties on his days off from the railway. Same kind of deal. I remember being very impressed with his high hat (he got the full uniform with only a small distinguishing mark--and had full powers of arrest!). I respect your desire to make digital camera users feel at home with your image!

Roger my friend and I both do this for 'fun'? It grew out of being ham radio operators and then getting envolved in disaster communications the evolved into... You get the picture. The whites are blown to imitate digital so as to make digi users feel at home. I would never make a mistake ;}

No Eric, neither he nor I get to pull you over. 'Course we can get a REAL officer pretty quickly if we need one. Mostly we offer you the choice of going the way you want and being electrocuted by the power lines hanging in the street, or going the way we suggest and getting home alive.

I find the idea that anyone would VOLUNTEER to control traffic quite incredible! All credit to you friend. I have no problem with B&W (or grain) but why imitate digital by letting those whites get blown out? {grin}
