About This was taken just a few weeks ago in White Sands National Monument. The clouds are pink from late day lighting and lightening occurring in the clouds.

Incredible light and shadows and the colours in the clouds are amazing. The image is a little soft so I assume it was handheld but it's so beautifully composed it doesn't matter.

Another really nice shot, I love the colours and the curving of the sand.

excellent image.... and a fantastic landscape.

Love how the sands seem to go on forever. Nice contrasts between the white sands and the sky. Even the clouds add to the image. Nicely seen and captured. Good work

Excellent path for the eye to wander into this interesting image.

I've never been to a place where the sand looks so much like snow! This is a wonderful capture of such an interesting place!
Your exposure is right on, as there is still a lot of cool detail in the sand and the colours pop.
Very nice contrast between the blue skies and white hills... I'm still in awe at this place!
It could be my eyes, but the foreground seems a little soft... the clumps of greenery in the foreground don't seem to have the sharpness that they could. I'm guessing this was because you were using the telephoto?
Nice use of light as well to make my eye follow the curves and patterns of the hills... again, spectacular shot!

Beautiful lines leading us into the picture and around to the amazing clouds. The shadows are great, and beautiful strong lighting. Alison
