They are cropped very slightly to help the composition for the most part they are full frame.

Stunning shot. Do you crop these down or is this exactly how you frame as detailed in your notes?

Dan Lightner   {K:12684} 11/5/2004
Tony , I could have done the same with a shutter of 1/15 th of a second , shutter speed is really irrelevant the flash duration freezes the action. My studio flash was about 1/10000th of a second. The DOF seems so shallow because the lens is about 4 inches from the drop, I use extension tubes to be able to focus that close.

I'm suprised the shutter speed was that slow and also thought it was more like f4 than f16 but what a superb result whatever it was.
Well done.

Latif, I will be happy to let you know my set up . Set your camera up on manual, Shutter 1/125 sec Aperture around F8 - F16 .You can use on camera flash , But I prefer Flash from the side. Take a pan of water and submerge a colorful plate about 1" under the surface . You might have to set something under it to get it near the top of the container or pan.Now set something in the middle of the plate , I use a credit card, and prefocus the camera at the spot where you want the drops to hit.Remove the credit card. Use an eye dropper to drop the water , raise and lower the height of the droper hand until you get the timimg right ,try droping many drops in succesion .You drop and hit the shutter kind of together, With a little practice you can usually get 2 good drops per 50 tries. Hope this helps

Hih! Funny picture. Makes me smile. Isn't it one of the teletubbies, Tinky Winky, that can be spotted reflected in the water? :-)
