Thanks for looking, sky are totally irrelevant in this picture, I can see many think sky have too be in all picture, it is not necessary too have excellent subject compete whit sky in same picture :)

very nice. not only does your photo have the "S" curve, always a winner, but a fence thru it. that's the great part.

there is something about the lack of contrast and high tones that's off. the sky is a bit dull. i think it may improve a great shot.

Thanks for looking no you screen is perfect I am glad you did notice this, reason for gray color is do too snow is so thin over the grass you can almost see straw if you look close :)

Dinamic lines of the snow escape quickly to the infinitive but they are stopped by mettalic wires, like the life of every day. Excellent composition (I see a little of grey on the snow but I think that my screen is over) Ciao Alessandro.

Hi Ice welcome to Usefilm! you have started off with some good ones. Snow is not often a popular subject. But for me this one brings alot of feeling out with the drama and composition.
Excellent!
Cheers Tim

this is really great shot! how can I miss it?
what I like here is the snow cover and its interaction (in colors) with the sky;
what time was this shot taken; the color of snow (light pinnk) points at morning
regards
Lukasz

Thanks - I am working on different compositions and variable camera settings. When I see something that I like, it is nice to know the technical stuff ;-)

The composition component is the soul of the photographer, but getting the settings right helps as well

Noise, what time of day and texture is totally irrelevant in this picture, what can you see in picture, is it a theme or did photographer give the work proper understanding too view when he sow it when he was forming this motive that is critique :)
but since you asked a documentary matter: Snow is not completely cowering the ground so you can see grey straw true snow, that is the texture and it is taken in mid day hmmmmmm stance sun low :)

A beautiful shot - what time of day did you shoot this? I can't make my mind up whether it is noise or the texture of the snow, whichever, this has great depth of field and composition

Hello and welcome!
Wow, with such a name from such a country and such a picture!
It's as if I could smell the snow - great light!
Nevertheless I prefer to have autumn for some more weeks. But we never know, it could snow as well in the beginning of November.
Warm regards
Franz

A very beautiful picture, welcome Icerock from Iceland. I love the perspective of the photo, with the car tracks leading us in and through the beautiful snow covered field. The lighting is great, very strong, creating great shadows. Alison

Well seen and composed with pleasing lines through the image. Was this true snow color. It looks just a bit gray to me.

Sure! I'm honoured!
Welcome to Usefilm. I've been here for about six weeks, and I'm addicted. Its a lot of fun. Hope you enjoy!
PS thanks for your honest feedback on my photo, I prefer when people tell me if they don't like an image. I was not so sure about that one, but thought I'd see what others say.
regards,
Omar
