Ivan my Friend, you do indeed have a thoughtful persona about you, with your permission, Id add this to the about of this photograph.

I dont have a better title, but I am going to give you a song that could be a perfect soundtrack for this picture. Coyotes by Bob McDill:

"...And he?d tell you a tale of the old days,
when the country was wild all around
Sit out under the stars of the Milky
Way and listen when the coyotes howl.
Now the longhorns are gone,
the drovers are gone, the Comanches
are gone,
Geronimo?s gone, the lion is gone
and the red wolf is gone.
Well, he cursed all the roads and the oil
men and he cursed the automobile,
Said this is no place for an hombre
like I am in this new world of
asphalt and steel.
Then he?d look off some place in the
distance, at something only he could see
He?d say ?All that?s left of the old days
is the damned old coyote and me.?
One morning they searched his adobe,
he disappeared without even a word.
But that night as the moon crossed the
mountain, one more coyote was heard.?

I am adding this to my favourites. I will follow your work.

Beautiful portrait... Excellent lighting... Love the composition and the colors... The title is perfect... And it is a shame that those old ways are disappearing....

Cheers,

It looks like a fox pelt on his head. Therefore it must be his totem. I would call it Totem or Fox Totem. I love the colors here. His expression is very sad and tired. Beautiful capture of the moment

M.A....did you have a female indian up also and remove it? I swear I saw one earlier and vowed to get a look and comment on it, but now I don't see it..

Beautiful! Much like a fine painting. I'd be tempted to call it the wolf whisperer, or something unusual, to match the unusual vision I see here. WOnderful work. 7+
