Hi Emily! at first let me to comment this your last "opera"; an intense portrait of your friend...with soft b/w tone and a perfect brurry background.... ..and last but not the least i hope that your pause is not for serious causes but only for a simple pause from the "computer". We wait for next your great compositions. Regards, Marco

Hi Emily, very strong expressive portrait. The evidence of something bad happening without referencing at what that is creates alot of tension. Excellent capture, and a very well balanced tonal range and composition. Great shot!
Cheers,
Hugo

Emy, Normally you would want to loose the rings but they work here giving it a candid feel rather than a pose feel. Excellent job, I can feel the despair. Jeff

Nice shot Emily, she appears to be in dispair. Hiding her eyes so that nobody can see her pains. Well done~

Excellent expression! When you don?t have your hair available for hide yourself, you can always use the hands :) However, that?s an excellent portrait!

great portrait of her. Wondering how did she feel in the moment you made the photo. The (sky)? worked very well as background.
