About Walking around the neighborhood, this time with my camera came across this plant just screaming to be photographed. We have great stonewalls around this area, so lots of opportunity for interesting shots.

Excellent photo, Alison, with the green leaves (cyclamen? just starting to break through the mighy rocks.
Thank you for your comment on my "Cinderall's sandal". Patty Morena posted a photo she called Cinderella and I felt obliged to supply the missing sandal. There is, however, the question about the prince Cinderella should marry.
Best regards,
Rafi

Very well seen, Alison! The green of the ivy really shines against the gray of the stones - great study in contrasts! Conn. does have lots of beautiful stone... down here we pretty much have white sand, gray sand and some red clay! :)

The green just comes jumping out against the monochromatic stone. And even without the brave little plant, the arrangement of the rocks would make an interesting composition. Very nice.

Very good colors, light, and details. That is one tenacious ivy!

Wonderful capture Alison, we can see God's power in this image, the way a living plant sprout between the stones, is amazing. The composition and contrast are wonderful too, Good work dear Alison, bye.

Nice contrasting colour with the surrounding stone, Alison! You've caught nice texture and detail, as well.
Dave.
