About Well Artie, the money I spent for my softboxes were worth every penny. I luv them. This was my first shoot with them installed. The thumbnail shown here will not show how much more easier it was in shooting this lovely girl. I put in 3 of the 4 gold reflectors in the large softbox, and 2 in the medium size. Oh by the way, I did remember to use a hair light. ;)

Great Phillip. The lighting on the skin is magnificent. The hair a bit shiny on one side as compared to the other. But, man, you are doing such a wonderful job. I can't do anything anywhere near as close,,,but you know me. Always looking and learning.

I'm always looking at shadows and catch lights of pictures in any magazine that I pick up. I can't get over how my mind has changed gears, and my attention to details or at the very least, trying to pick up details to file away.

I'm looking at everything in a different perspective nowadays. I feel like a sponge at times, soaking in everything around me, and collecting information. I'm about to overload !

Weird ;)

Thankx all. I don't really like the two catch lights in her eyes either. I feel however if I move either light off further to one side I won't properly light her mask. I guess I should try it and see how it works.

See!..very well done Phil...couple more of the portraits and we'll do another session to fine tune...very nicely done however...I dont see the posts of f11 and f13....How does this compare to the brightness & contrast range of f11.....

Well, I just bought a set of lights, softboxes, etc., this past week and have yet to shoot an indoor portrait, so maybe I shouldn't comment too much and leave it to the experts. Only one thing bugs me in an otherwise beautiful pic. which is the 2 catchlights in both eyes. Otherwise a very nice pic. of a lovely girl - I just wonder how long it's going to take me to get to this level :-)
