Prachtig deze rode paddestoel.
Twee jaar geleden heb ik er gevonden hier in de buurt,tussen een aanplanting van denneboomjes.
Maar nu staan er alleen enkele witte.

Thanks Keith, i noticed the foot being out of focus, but given the circumstances i could not squeeze the lens more (higher F-value) as i had already 1/8" ..

Peter,
I too went looking for fungi, but in the UK we have plenty, though I didn't find anything like this one.
Its a very nice shot, but you have just lost the dof at the base of the stalk.
I like it though.
