Dramatic story.... if it?s true! Great graphic image with wonderful shadows, texture and comp. Dark, strong, heavy - but as they say....you know what I was supposed to say, but I really hate those words!

I really like the composition here! Love how you shoot into the light! A wonderful concept! A sad story, hopefully not one from personal experience, it sucks to be alone...

a great continuation of the 1st image... the same rich tones and small details are here as well with the excemption that now people (a couple actually) are passing by, oblivious of the fact that a lonely person is sitting in the dark regarding the outside world... the bitter irony in life... details that one wouldn?t notice unless living its own story (or tragedy).... very strong emotional pic.... well done... emy

Nice and logical sequel to the previous shot, what can I say? That?s life? this short series (don?t know if it?s the last shot or not) make me think that it?s better suffer a little for a love story instead of not having at all. Good and meaningful photo, I should repeat the same words as in the other comp ;)

For the frame? it?s a taste matter, personally I don?t like frames at all, except a light drop shadow, this because I come from traditional photography, but maybe I?m wrong ;)

Bye
Max

Hi patrick,

strong background story. fact or fiction?

toning is great here, supports the idea of fragments from the past. the vignetting "style" is also great, leaves some space between the viewer and the past/woman. the overexposed area in the window is a minor issue for me... nothing to worry about.
good one!
take care,
thilo

Nice, works well with your theme. She walks on by without looking back to you, but secretly you still watch her, even though there is no hope to get her back. Sitting in a dark room, letting the blackness swallow you as your heart has been crushed. The door is open for her anytime in case she changes her mind. Good work~

Great tones here. I love the composition. Yes, she made a mistake. Should have stayed with the photographer who sits in the shadows of the lonely hallway..watching...

Great sequel to the first image, my friend.
The timing is perfect on the passers-by, cutting the pram in half (very symbolic?)

PS The other guy looks like a loser, she made a big mistake! (heh heh)

Hi Patrick - a sentiment that is not lost on me -

http://www.usefilm.com/image/567208.html

I think the same emotion might be at play in both our scenes - although yours certainly shows what could have been lost better. Beyond that, the graphic quality of having the shot emerge from the center w/ faded edges and ornage hues adds a nice sense of depth and framing. Regards,

Chris
