I hadn't thought otherwise, but sometimes nature is quite unkind to the photographer.
It's always easy to say with hindsight, but I may have been tempted to take a second shot having helped nature to send the leaf on its way to the ground! I quite often will clear grass or leaves out of the way of a natural subject - especially if it is going to be a macro.
I welcome constructive criticism of my own photos. :)
