I do tend to agree with you, but its not so much the effect as a dual problem of softness from flatbed scanner and that she was wearing very dark eye makeup with naturally very small eyes. Thank you for your comment.

P.S. I had the privilege of shooting a wedding this past wedding where the bride was simply stunning! When the happy couple are back from their honeymoon, (and I've secured their permission!), I'm hoping to load a few shots from their portfolio!

I must admit I dont like the effect as her eyes are completely black and sinister here. The effect has also lost so much detail especially in the flowers. I would prefer the normal photo and think it would have worked so much better IMHO.
